How it Works

The Vancouver Island App is brought to you by Vancouver Island Heartbeatz. To begin, create your account and log in. Welcome to your community!

Position the toggle at the lower right corner of the screen to the left. This will display the pin locations. Toggle to the right to include the for communities.

Expend the screen and touch on the symbols and pins. Expand the screen further to view additional pins.

You can conveniently access Google Maps to assist you in planning your adventure. You will note the colourful pins identifying participating business where you can use the App's scan function to scan our unique QR codes.

When you successfully scan a QR you will earn points which will count towards any future contests. Contests will be announced in the Rewards Milestone messaging.

As well, you can view your recently visited history. Frequently asked questions and contact information is found in the settings.

We are working on creating a legend for the pins, but for now, the colourful pins identify the great businesses who are displaying a Vancouver Island HeartBeatz QR Code and are looking forward to your visit. The grey pins provide information on some of the great attractions you will find on Vancouver Island.
